WELCOME TO LEAGUE HISTORY!
This page will feature a short synopsis from each Season, knowing that some will be too lazy to read the full recaps of each season. Nevertheless,  hover over the tab and click on whichever season to read a more in-depth recap.

SEASON 1
MLBA's debut season was hindered by multiple moving owners, due to inactivity, playstyle, or imaturity. This season was mainly used as a vetting season where a core group of owners was found. Out of the 30 owners that drafted and started the season with, only 13 remained at the end, with a multitude of new guys coming in. The season was all in all extremely competitve, but the lax rules defintely made it the least SIM season, as expected. The inability to reset games in the playoffs also caused issues as DC's had no remedy. The issues continued into the playoffs, which started just around the time when people started to become unavailable to play, namely SlayingRat, Heizenberg, and Esco. The result was a competitive playoff, but wasn't what it had the potential to be. However, both Conference Finals and the Finals went to 5 games. At the end of the day, TheLarryBirdx became the 1st champion of MLBA(with an asterick), led by his cheese with John Wall. Safe to say, he's not in the league anymore with his cancerous personality, outright weirdness, and most of all his cheese play.

SEASON 2

MLBA's second season was trademarked with the dramatic increase in rules and strictness on playstyle. There was a "Change or Be Kicked" attitude that exuded from the admins. This is mainly because at the time S2 started, there were about 5-6 guys consistently on the waiting list, and replacing really wasn't an issue. There was no tolerance for cheese play. The one thing that derailed this season in terms of owners, is that more than a few core guys left due to personal issues. This included Smoots, BigDogDapont, and Ras. Furthermore, the glitching in playoffs came around at the worst possible time, derailing the league into having "The Lost Season." However, it was one of the best regular seasons that I think we'll see in a long time. And for that, we will crown Regular Season champions for S2, albeit with another asterisk by their names. Congrats to the PHX Suns, led by Ocho at 25-4 and to the MIL Bucks, led by Drummondfan at 25-4 as well!

SEASON 3
MLBA's third season, and first on 2K17 took an extremely long time. Almost 4 months to do one season. The reason for this ended up being due to the 58 game season. Interest died quickly and people essentially got busy and put the league in their hindsight. However, a perk for this season was the fact that we were able to trim down the members to only the solid core group. We have more CPUs now, but at the end of the day it's for the best. We were still able to conduct the playoffs, without any glitching this season, and through that we saw an invigorating finals match-up between SuperMarioGear's Blazers and X2's Hawks. Both were at the top of the league for essentially the entirety of the season. A 3-2 finish and W for SuperMario crowns him as MLBA's latest Champion!!! Congrats! Where will Season 4 and the redraft take MLBA next?

SEASON 4

The fourth season of MLBA is labeled the "Comeback Season," plain and simple. Ocho went on a recruiting frenzy, searching far and wide for new blood. Some key new pieces were added this season, such as TNT, Alpha, Sasha and friends, and others. These guys rejuvenated the league and brought a wave of activity that we haven't experienced since S2. With new guys, there was a learning curve... teaching guys who haven't played SIM before takes time, so this season was an experiment for many.  We also introduced a forum, which allowed for more inter-activeness from the league and caused much more enthusiasm from guys. The playoffs were heated, and a lot of trash talking went on and some... crying (@Kobe). We even had our first 8 v 1 upset, with Mario becoming the embarrassment of the league. All in all, we ended up with TNT's Jazz vs. X2's Hawks in the finals, with X2 coming out with a finals sweep and a whole playoff sweep! X2 is finally earns a right in the Hall of Champions, congrats! Can he repeat in S5?

SEASON 5
The fifth season of MLBA turned out to be the one where it seems like the league has finally turned the corner. With a solid group of guys and minimal turnover, it seems like the league is finally primed to make the next step towards greatness. S5 was the first season in which trade restrictions were implemented, as people continuously complained about Kobe and X2's respective superteams. In terms of gameplay, it went by pretty smoothly with minimal complaining and a very quick season. The regular season took exactly 4 weeks and the playoffs flew by in a week. The playoffs went pretty much chalk, as we ended up seeing a repeat of the S4 final in which TNT and X2 went back at it again. The result ended up being the same *yawn*, as X2 becomes our first Back-to-Back Champ in MLBA history. Time to copy and paste X2 back into the Hall of Champions... Will we see a Cavs-Warriors-esque trilogy in the Season 6 championship? Will TNT ever represent the West proudly and get a chip? Tune in next time to MLBA!

SEASON 6
S6 came about in a spontaneous redraft, as guys seemed thoroughly disenchanted with the superteams and with the extremely poor teams. No one wanted to take over a Clippers team that had Taj Gibson as their best player. The redraft seemed to benefit guys as it allowed the replacement owners to finally draft a team of their own. The most daunting part about this season was the infamous beta testing shooting patch that completely screwed the game. We saw guys just paint stuffing and getting close to the 80% mark every game simply because 2K didn't allow shots to go in. Once we reached the playoffs, it became interesting. In terms of the league, we created our weekly (roundly) podcasts and found ways to commentate games due to 2K's inability to have their commentary on twitch. In terms of the gameplay in the playoffs, X2 fails to have the chance to 3-peat, as he blew a 2-0 lead to Army, leaving Drummond to cruise to the finals. In the West, TNT had to fight through 2 Game 5's to reach the final and to subsequently breeze through Drummond for his first title. I guess 3rd times the charm... Welcome to the Hall, TNT!
